Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Hiddle collects when you use our website and video-creation service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits our site or holds a Hiddle account.

• Account data — your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Content you create — scripts, prompts, chat messages, uploaded assets (images, audio, video, documents), and the videos you generate.
• Billing data — plan, subscription status, and credit usage. Payment card details are handled by our merchant of record, Polar, and never touch our servers.
• Usage data — log and device information such as IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the app, used for security and to improve the Service.

• to provide the Service: store your projects, render your videos, and sync your workspaces;
• to power AI features: your prompts and relevant project context are sent to AI model providers to generate compositions, voices, music, and transcripts;
• to bill you: metering credit usage and managing subscriptions through Polar;
• to communicate: transactional emails such as confirmations and receipts;
• to keep the Service safe: preventing abuse, debugging, and securing accounts.

We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only with the processors we need to run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage;
• Polar — payments, subscriptions, and usage-based billing;
• AI providers (such as ElevenLabs for voice and audio, and large-language-model providers for generation) — receive the prompts and content needed to fulfil your requests;
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, or content within it, we delete the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, billing, or security reasons.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and signed URLs for file access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your account.

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
